Spring is Sprung

Lovely day today, nip in the air but that feeling that the winter is now past and the sense of renewal just around the corner.  Found these two broken daffodils lying in the road when I parked my car.  I could not leave them there so dusted them off and brought them home and put them in my tiny little favourite vase purchased in Delft a few years ago.  They are now sitting on my kitchen windowsill and make me smile when I go in to wash up.
