...this week's Book at Bedtime for those of us on this side of the pond. That simply gorgeous, lovely, delightful book that I fell totally in love with last year is being read out in ten programmes over the next two weeks.
I am referring of course to the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society and it is being read by Emilia Fox and others. I have listened to the first programme and it was a total joy. Listening with the book in my hand, I can see it has been abridged but it is being done very well indeed.
