Elder daughter with me for a couple of days, hence lack of posting as we have been too busy talking..
So today I am merely going to draw your attention to a wonderfully interesting new book due out in October and published by Yale UP, Pashas by James Mather. It looks fascinating and I am confident of having a copy given to me personally by the author to read and review come publication day. The reason I am sure of this is that the author just happens to be my son-in-law and he is as delightful as he is frighteningly brilliant.
When I am somewhat overawed by his intellect I remind myself of the three pieces of my red pepper quiche he ate the other week, plus the very large bowl of strawberries and cream afterwards and I feel better....
