I have been reading some books recently, promise, but not quite sure where the past week has gone and I am out all day tomorrow so thought I had better drop you all a line to say that a book review will be up soon! Blame it on Delia - she has had me in the kitchen the last couple of days. I made my Christmas cake which has turned out beautifully (I may even treat you to a photo of same you lucky people) and then today I was attending a tea party, AMNESTEA, for Amnesty International, hosted by a friend of mine and I had promised to donate a cake or two, my Victoria sponge went down a treat (the Delia all in one method) and a coconut cake (not Delia but still one of my favourites), so the stirring and mixing has been going on apace.
Then I have been working at home this week and spent all one day updating and amending a website and setting up links and posts and it was all quite fascinating and I have learned a lot more about typepad than I knew hitherto and have now got a gleam in my eye and think I may update my blog in the New Year. We shall see.
Anyway, off to bed now, busy day tomorrow but hope to be back with a book review or two on Monday. As I have a massage booked on the Tuesday, the dentist on Wednesday, London on Thursday and work at home on Friday, looks as if I have another full few days ahead of me. Absolutely dreading the dentist, but as this time I know what to expect it will not be as scary as my last appointment a few weeks ago, which was the first time I had been to the dentist in ten years (yes I know...) and my nerves were at screaming pitch.
