Have mentioned that I will be away this week. I will be slap bang in the middle of the Exmoor National Park and am not giving away what I am doing just yet as it is something I have never done before and I am a trifle apprehensive about it all. I am driving there tomorrow - long time since I have driven this length of journey so also bit apprehensive about that as well though my road confidence has increased in the last year. The picture below will give a clue to one of my activities this week and will blog about it when I return - safely I hope....
I have set some posts to appear while away and hope that they pop up when they should. On 29 September a series of bloggers, hosted by Austenprose, are posting on the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mrs Gaskell and we have all chosen to write about a book, story or TV adaptation. I am writing about the BBC adaptation of Wives and Daughters and this will be up at midnight GMT on this date - others will be posted according to the time zones. Here is a link with all the info and do keep an eye out for it.
I am also posting over two days, an interview with Oliver Stark about his fantastic debut thriller, American Devil which has just been issued in paperback. Headline books have kindly offered up three copies of this for a prize draw so keep an eye out for that as well.
So packing to do and an early night. Will have a quick check of emails in the morning and then off blog until my return
