I am back and when I drove home this morning the sun was actually shining which was lovely. Had an excellent week, feel rested and relaxed and the white flab is a pale golden tan flab now which I always think looks better! Photos in due course.
Not sure when I will be posting about books I have read and am conscious I have a few to do but off to London tomorrow to see darling Florence so likely to be Thursday before the proper business of Random is up and running. While away I read The Bull of Mithros by Anne Zouroudi which I loved, Mrs Robinson's Disgrace by Kate Summerscale, intriguing, The House by the Sea by Senta Montefiore, beach read and fun, the latest Inspector Grace book by Peter James, good as always, a couple of Daisy Dalrymple books by Carola Dunn (on my Kindle) and a most odd book called Up and Down by EF Benson (Kindle) which had been so badly digitised it looked as if somebody had typed it on a QWERTY key board with all the wrong keys. Weird.
Anyway back later. Many thanks for all the kind messages left for me which, as always, are so much appreciated. Time to get the washing machine on, all sorted and check out the lovely heap of parcels and packages waiting my attention.
Good to be home.
