Off to London today to help with grandchildren and for some reason awoke at 6am. Why? I need my sleep as I shall be knackered this evening. Ah well.
Driving up to Leicestershire on Saturday morning and busy weekend ahead so as I am awake thought I would make use of my time and post before I hit the A12. On Sunday I am running a book stall as part of a Christmas fair held in Quorn in Leicestershire. My sister is the organiser and, as I have taken part in these occasions before, am looking forward to it. It will be tiring but fun. So if anybody is in the area on Sunday 1 December please do pop in. There are three venues but I shall be lurking in the village hall.
Have been busy organising Christmas shopping in the last few weeks and thank goodness for online purchasing. I have managed to avoid going into town, save for one visit, and that is a blessing. Packing up a parcel for Kathryn in Australia which must be on its way by 5 December. It is full of lots of little pressies all individually wrapped and she opens them on Christmas day while somebody is chucking a shrimp on the barbie.
I have also made my Christmas pudding and if you want to know how I did it and my recipe, with amendments, check out the link here:
I probably won't post again now until next Tuesday when I have more Christmas recommendations in books so have a good weekend everyone.
Note to self: Do NOT forget to set box to record Strictly Come Dancing and Borgen. What a wide variety of programmes I watch...
