Last year I reviewed Masha which I first read as a young teenager and loved. I was simply delighted that Margin Notes Books had reprinted this so that it was once more available. Second hand copies were hard to come by and very expensive and ended up rather forlornly on my wish list.
Now I am really pleased that the same publisher has reprinted the second book, The Youngest lady in Waiting which continues the story of Masha after her departure from the Smolni Institute for Noble Girls.
I have reviewed this second reprint on Shiny New Books, the online book magazine, which is packed full of the most wonderful recommendations and reviews and here is the link below:

Do check out the website for Margin Notes Books - some really interesting and fun titles there. These little publishers are doing a marvellous job with bringing back books long forgotten and deserve to be supported.
