I am lucky that my family live ten minutes walk away from Kew Gardens and I can visit any time I want as they are Friends and have a yearly pass. I am up here looking after grandchildren but they are at school today and so I decided to take a look at the gardens again. I have visited in all the seasons and it is perennially beauitful, but autumn takes some beating. It is my favourite season and on a day llke today when the sky is blue, it is mild and the sun is shining and an autumn nip in the air. It is unbeatable. I had a wonderful couple of hours strolling and then resting with a coffee as my knee started to play up big time, but it was worth it as you can see from these photographs.
