I visited another National Trust Property - Felbrigg Hall. Not far away from Blickling but different in atmosphere and character. Felbrigg has been a family home until fairly recently and you can tell. A delightful house with the usual well informed guides. Once again, as I got there just as it opened I more or less had the place to myself which is wonderful, nobody getting in the way as I looked and took photos and I could stroll round in a leisurely manner.
The grounds were as gorgeous as all the grounds at these places are and also has a walled garden. I love walled gardens, they enclose you and feel comfortable and safe and I always feel like Mary Lennox in the Secret Garden.
